CHED conducts pilot-testing of SUC levelling instrument at TAU 

The Commission on Higher Education's Technical Working Group (TWG) under the Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance (OIQAG) conducted an on-site pilot testing activity of the revised SUC Levelling Instrument at Tarlac Agricultural University on May 12-13, 2022.

The CHED delegates were led by Dr. Leonida S. Calagui, Director IV of CHED Regional Office III. The TWG members from CHED Central Office were Ms. Ma. Teresita Puriran and Ms. Virginia Magsino. They were accompanied by Ms. Rita Sescar, Ms. Julie Anne Aturdido and Mr. Joemar Aquinde as their secretariat. 

Meanwhile, the representatives from the CHED Regional Office accompanying Dr. Calagui were Dr. Lora Yusi, Dr. Maria Teresa Salta, Ms. Jo Ann Gamboa, and Ms. Anna Rodessa Calma.

After the pilot testing and meeting with the TAU officials, the CHED delegates toured around the TAU's promising research-based projects and technologies which are readily available to serve the communities in the region. 

They visited the SMART Agriculture Center, Artificial Insemination Center, Rootcrops Research and Training Center, and the Free-Range Chicken Project of the university.

The said visit concluded with fruitful exchange of insights for the improvement of the SUC Levelling mechanisms and the systematic conduct of such endeavor in light of the improvement of the delivery of quality education and services in the region. (RCalpito, PDO)
