TAU-RET, CVM conduct training on enterprise development of backyard chicken

TAU-RET and CVM conducted training for TAU's stakeholders and partners about enterprise development on transforming backyard chicken production into a viable enterprise last 14-15 July 2022.

Day 1 was devoted for the lectures supervised by the vice president for Research, Extension and Training (RET), Dr. Ma. Asuncion G. Beltran. Included in the lecturer and trainers are the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine, headed by the dean, Dr. Lavina Gracia M. Ramirez. Part of their presentation is to highlight the technological demonstration of TAU's free-range chicken production. The said training was held at the Farmer's Training Center.

On the 2nd day of the training, the trainers and the delegates conducted on-site visit in the farms owned by TAU's partners in the said enterprise development. The said activity showcased the strengthened partnership and collaboration of the specialists in the said technology and the farm owners to innovate the backyard chicken production into a viable enterprise.
