ELIA hails Edutourism Documentaries

In support of Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) StudyPh Program, the Tarlac Agricultural University  (TAU) - External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA), through its ADAPT-TAU Project, joined forces with five TAU colleges in piloting the Edutourism Documentaries.

TAU, TSU seal five-year agreement

With years of entwined history, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and Tarlac State University (TSU) embark on a shared vision to become leading sustainable universities in the world.

To streamline and recalibrate collaborative undertakings geared towards mutual development, officials from the two higher education institutions (HEIs) inked an accord at TSU Alumni Hall, Villa Lucinda Campus on 4 May.

Dr. Max P. Guillermo, TAU President, hailed the historic deal between two of Tarlac’s premier universities and encouraged their respective stakeholders to bring the goals of cooperation to fruition. Meanwhile, Dr. Arnold E. Velasco, TSU President, stressed that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing is “long overdue.”

Officials from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) vowed to help Mindoro State University (MinSU) in its academic, research, and internationalization programs after signing an agreement with the latter’s administrative council on 29 April.

CED sends practice teachers to Balinese, Surakartan schools

Due to restrictions in cross-border mobility, the Tarlac Agricultural University - College of Education (CED) has opted to endorse 13 of its students for a virtual practice teaching stint in Indonesia.

Three Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) students are now serving as online teachers in Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) in Bali.  Diana M. Vitacion, Dan Gabryel T. Sembrano, and Sarah Micah A. Esteban are teaching science subjects to junior and senior high school students of Undiksha’s secondary department, SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja. Another BSEd student, Irene D. Isip, is carrying out her duties at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 21 Sukoharjo.

“When I first heard that Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is one of the best universities not only in Asia but in the entire world, I already decided to visit TAU.”

Such were the words uttered by Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, President of Isabela State University (ISU), during the Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ISU and TAU on 25 April at TAU AgroTourism Function Hall.

     Tarlac, IloIlo HEIs forge ties

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has inked a deal with another prominent university.

After a series of exploratory talks, West Visayas State University (WVSU), one of the most well-respected higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Hiligaynon-speaking region, vowed to collaborate with TAU on a number of priority areas.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) has ranked in all 17 indicators of this year’s Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings enabling it to maintain its 601-800th place among 1,406 higher education institutions (HEIs) in the world.
