The attendees’ sense of national pride is heightened due to the performance of the TAU Performing Guild and renditions of the University Chorale, who lend more gravity and touches of artistry to the event.

After the customary activities have been completed, Ms. Maricel D. Felipe, chief of the Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO) announces the kick-off for the month-long celebration of the 124th Civil Service Anniversary with the theme, β€œTransforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”

The Faculty Association’s President, Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad, then proudly commends the winners of the State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association Region III (SCUFAR III) Sports and Cultural Festival held at Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU).

Dr. Danilo N. Oficiar, the Officer In-Charge of the Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD), shares with the community, especially the students, that the election of officers for the College Student Council and Supreme Student Council is slated on 17 September from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Aspiring students who wish to run for positions may file a certificate of candidacy until Friday, September 6. The campaign period starts on September 9 and continues until September 13.

Dr. Oficiar also announces that proposals for student organizations’ activities will be approved only if the proposing organization has submitted its request for renewal and is already recognized by the university.

Meanwhile, Ms. Hasmine Adrielle Mariano, one of the advisers of Golden Harvest, the official tertiary student publication of TAU, happily announces the victory of GH editorial staff who participated in the 3rd Young Journalists Press Freedom competition on August 30 at Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Cabanatuan City.

Ms. Ydda Maree Alyssa, HRMO staff, spearheads the recognition of birthday celebrators for the month of September, who are offered prayer blessings led by Dr. Officiar.

Prior to his concluding remarks, the University President praises the Performing Guild and TAU Chorale for their performances and wishes them to also conquer international stages. He also encourages the TAU personnel and staff to continuously imbibe the spirit of public service and attributes of a public servant. Finally, he urges the TAU employees to support and participate in all the activities to be carried out in celebration of the 124th Civil Service Anniversary.
