A defining milestone in the history of Tarlac Agricultural University unfolded as the University formally broke ground for two landmark infrastructure projects on 15 May 2026, in celebration of its 10th Charter Anniversary, a powerful symbol of a decade of transformation, innovation, and unwavering commitment to nation-building through education. Led by University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson alongside the members of the Administrative Council, the simultaneous groundbreaking ceremonies for the Agrifood Technology Business Incubation (ATBI) Hub at the Agribusiness Building and the College of Education Child Research and Development Laboratory of Experiences (CRADLE) at the College of Education Building marked another historic step toward a future-ready TAU.

More than the construction of new facilities, the projects embody the University’s vision of expanding opportunities for innovation, research, entrepreneurship, and transformative learning. The ATBI Hub is expected to strengthen TAU’s role as a catalyst for agrifood innovation and sustainable enterprise development, empowering communities and aspiring agripreneurs through technology-driven initiatives. Meanwhile, the CRADLE facility will serve as a dynamic and responsive learning environment that will enrich instruction, child-centered research, and experiential training for future educators, further elevating the standards of teacher education in the region.
