A festive opening parade kicks off today, 8 April, from Jaro Plaza, marching toward the West Visayas State University (WVSU) Main Campus to officially commence the National Culture and the Arts Festival (NCAF) 2026.
Leading the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) delegation are University officials, including TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson; Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs; Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training; and Ms. Maria Regina D. Salunson, Executive Assistant IV
Also, joining the march are TAUβs student contenders: Mr. Jesse B. CariΓ±o (BS Development Communication), who competes for the title of Mr. PASUC 2026, and Mr. John Lloyd V. Dacalanio (B Secondary Education), who showcases his talent in the Storytelling competition. They are supported by Sociocultural Development Office (SDO) Director Ms. Cecile L. Lapitan, SDO Assistant Director Engr. Donna Fay N. Labrador, and Ms. Leslie L. Fernando, coach.
