Based on the recommendation of the Dean’s Council, and in view of the forecasted heat index of 45°C on Thursday and 44°C on Friday, the administration of Final Examinations shall be limited to morning schedules on Thursday in consideration of the safety, health, and well-being of students and personnel.

Considering that several afternoon examinations have already been postponed during the past two days, some examinations may no longer be accommodated within the available morning schedule. In such cases, afternoon examinations may only be conducted upon the voluntary agreement of the students concerned. Faculty members handling the course are advised to inform their respective Deans regarding such agreements for appropriate endorsement to the Office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA) for approval.

In addition, due to the scheduled Convocation Program on the morning of May 15, 2026, faculty members under Teacher’s Leave (TL) status may administer examinations on May 18, 2026 (Monday), while faculty members under Vacation and Sick Leave (VSL) status may conduct examinations on May 19, 2026 (Tuesday).

All employees are likewise required to attend the Convocation Program.

To ensure the smooth implementation of the revised examination arrangements, faculty members and class advisers are encouraged to closely coordinate possible rescheduling concerns and help avoid conflicts in examination schedules.

Students are advised to regularly monitor official announcements from their colleges and instructors for further instructions and updated examination schedules.
