From shared spaces to shared commitments, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Manuel, Tarlac strengthened their partnership through a Campus Tour and Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The activity was spearheaded by University President; Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the University Vice-Presidents, and Honorable Mayor Doรฑa Cresencia R. Tesoro, who led the San Manuel delegation.

The campus tour provided the LGU with a closer look at TAUโs facilities, expertise, and capabilities in advancing agricultural and community development. The ceremonial MOA signing forms part of TAUโs Food Security Program, being pursued in partnership with LGUs across the Province of Tarlac and the Provincial Government of Tarlac. The initiative brings the University and local governments together in responding to one of the most fundamental needs of community access to safe, sufficient, nutritious, and sustainable food.ย

Through the partnership, TAUโs academic expertise, research, extension services, and agricultural innovations are brought closer to local communities. San Manuelโs participation further strengthens a province-wide effort to build more resilient and productive food systems.
