𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 [𝐔𝐁 𝟏𝟐𝟖-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔] | 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐜

In accordance with Proclamation No. 109, s. 1999, 28 May of each year is declared a special non-working holiday across the Province of Tarlac in observance of "Araw ng Lalawigan ng Tarlac."

This historic proclamation commemorates Tarlac’s evolution into an independent socio-political unit and its formal establishment as a province on 28 May 1873. The holiday stands as a lasting tribute to the Province's forefathers and heroes, inspiring present and future generations of Tarlaqueños to uphold the virtues, courage, and nationalism handed down by their ancestors.

In observance of this occasion, office operations and academic activities at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are suspended. This allows the members of the University community to honor the Province's rich history, participate in founding anniversary activities, and reflect on the enduring legacy of our ancestors.
