The activity underscored TAU’s commitment to providing improved infrastructure that supports academic excellence, institutional efficiency, and community development.

The ceremonial blessing commenced with a ribbon-cutting activity held in front of the TAU Administrative Building, symbolizing the formal opening and renewed dedication of the university’s key facilities. It was led by the University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the University’s Vice Presidents:Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs; Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance; Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, and Vice President for Research, Extension and Training; Dr. Edmar N. Franquera. Members of the Administrative Council also joined the ceremony, reflecting strong leadership unity in advancing the university’s development agenda.

Following the ribbon-cutting, the university officials proceeded to the TAU Guest House located near the TAU Dormitory, where the blessing continued. The solemn rite was conducted to invoke divine guidance and protection over the newly enhanced and maintained facilities, reinforcing TAU’s tradition of integrating faith and gratitude in institutional milestones.

As TAU celebrates a decade of universityhood, the Blessing of Facilities stands as a testament to its sustained growth and transformation. Under the leadership of Dr. Salunson and the collaborative efforts of the Vice Presidents and the Administrative Council, the university continues to strengthen its physical and academic environment building not only structures, but also a legacy of excellence, service, and innovation for future generations.
