𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

In pursuit of academic advancement and scientific competence, instructors from the College of Education (CEd) participate in the Basic Molecular Biology Workshop (Batch 2), held at the Institute of Biology, National Science Complex, University of the Philippines Diliman, 7-8 April. The workshop is organized by the Pathogen-Host-Environment-Interactions Research Laboratory (PHEIRL) and gathers students, early-career researchers, and professionals seeking to strengthen their foundation in molecular biology.

Representing CEd are Mr. Ricky P. Lacson, Ms. Rosemarie C. Estabillo, and Ms. Abigail R. Teodoro, who actively engage in both lecture and laboratory components of the training. The workshop covers essential techniques such as DNA extraction, DNA quantification, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), and agarose gel electrophoresis, core skills in modern biological research and diagnostics.
