𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲  𝐄𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

In solemn gratitude and unity, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathered for an Ecumenical Service on May 5, 2026, at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Hall, as part of the University’s 10th Charter Anniversary. Anchored on the theme, “Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for His compassion never fails,” the activity reflected a collective expression of faith and thanksgiving for a decade of growth, resilience, and transformative service.

The thanksgiving ceremony was led by the Director of the Office of Student Services Development, Dr. Danilo N. Oficiar, alongside guest pastor Rev. Johmel T. Vinluan of Sta. Ignacia Baptist Church, an alumnus of the University. In his message, Rev. Vinluan underscored the enduring values of love, compassion, and mercy as guiding principles toward achieving a meaningful and purposeful life. He emphasized that these virtues are not only essential in personal journeys but also in shaping institutions like TAU as it continues to uphold its mandate as a university. Drawing from the Charter Day theme, he reminded the community that it is through unwavering compassion and shared commitment that TAU thrives and remains steadfast in its mission.

The event was graced by University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the University’s Vice Presidents, faculty members, staff, and students, all joining in a moment of reflection and gratitude. As TAU celebrates ten years of universityhood, the Ecumenical Thanksgiving stands as a testament to the institution’s strong spiritual foundation and its enduring commitment to holistic development, guided by faith and service.
