In view of the current travel difficulties brought about by damaged and impassable bridges in parts of Tarlac, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is providing a complimentary shuttle service to assist employees experiencing challenges in commuting to and from the University.
The shuttle service will leave exactly at 5:30 a.m. from the parking area of CityWalk Tarlac City and will travel through Gerona and Nambalan, Santa Ignacia, before proceeding to TAU. The service will also be available for the trip home from TAU at 4:30 p.m.ย
Meanwhile, the University continues to monitor and check on students who remain in their boarding houses, as some are unable to return home due to the lack of communication signal in their areas, while others are choosing to stay temporarily to avoid flooded roads and areas where their homes remain affected by the situation. TAU is currently implementing asynchronous classes for this week to help ensure the safety and continued learning of students amid the current conditions.
The shuttle service is only intended for TAU employees whose regular routes to the University are affected by the damaged or impassable bridges. Please be guided accordingly and stay safe, TAUians.
