𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 [𝐔𝐁 𝟐𝟐𝟐-𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔] | 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟖 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In view of the scheduled power interruption affecting parts of Tarlac on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) announces the following work arrangements for all concerned faculty members and non-teaching personnel.

The scheduled power interruption will take place from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to facilitate transmission line maintenance, testing, and other technical activities along the Concepcion–Camiling 69 kV transmission line and within the substation.

In line with the University's austerity measures and to ensure the continuity of University operations, faculty members and non-teaching personnel performing office-based and technical functions shall work from home (WFH) on the said date.

Meanwhile, personnel performing essential functions and those whose duties cannot be effectively carried out under a work-from-home arrangement shall continue to report for on-site duty in accordance with their respective work schedules and the instructions of their heads of offices. These include security personnel, janitorial staff, farm workers, animal caretakers, laboratory-in-charge personnel, and personnel assigned to the Business and Auxiliary Services (BAS), including those involved in Catering Services, Hostel operations, and E-Bamboo operations.

Heads of offices and immediate supervisors are directed to monitor the work outputs, deliverables, and performance of their respective personnel to ensure productivity, accountability, and the continued delivery of University services during the work-from-home arrangement.

All personnel under the work-from-home arrangement shall remain accessible during official working hours and perform their assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with applicable University policies and the instructions of their respective supervisors. Personnel required to report on-site shall observe their prescribed work schedules and coordinate with their respective heads of offices for proper implementation.

All concerned personnel are enjoined to observe these arrangements and cooperate in ensuring the continuity of University operations and services during the scheduled power interruption.
