Steadfast in its pursuit of excellence, transparency, and fiscal responsibility, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) underscored the vital role of accountability and strategic governance during the 2025 Annual Performance Review Presentation of the Offices under the Vice-President for Finance and Administration, held on 20 February 2026 at the TAU- Bamboo Training Center. Guided by the visionary leadership of the Vice-President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, the activity served as a comprehensive platform to assess accomplishments, evaluate operational efficiency, align financial and administrative initiatives with the Universityโ€™s institutional goals and development thrusts.

The event formally commenced with a message of welcome and inspiration from the University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, who warmly greeted the officials and personnel from the various offices under Finance and Administration. In his address, Dr. Salunson commended the collective efforts, dedication, and integrity demonstrated by the administrative and finance staff in ensuring the smooth operations of the University. He likewise acknowledged the invaluable presence and expertise of the external evaluators from the Department of Budget and Management โ€“ Regional Field Office III (DBM-RFO III), namely Ms. Thelma Abegail A. Macalino, Ms. Katrina M. Yalung, and Ms. Alexis M. Gutierrez, whose insights further strengthened the review process.

The morning session featured the presentation of Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Chief Administrative Officer for Administration, who comprehensively discussed the accomplishments, updates, operational concerns, and corresponding interventions under the Universityโ€™s Administrative Services. Her presentation highlighted process improvements, policy enhancements, and service delivery mechanisms aimed at reinforcing institutional efficiency. Subsequently, Mr. Dante A. Revamonte, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance, provided a detailed report on the Universityโ€™s financial status, budget utilization, fiscal management strategies, and other key financial matters, reaffirming TAUโ€™s commitment to prudent and transparent financial stewardship.

In the afternoon, Engr. Benjie M. Dela Vega, Director of General Services, presented the officeโ€™s initiatives in managing university facilities, ensuring proper housekeeping, implementing ecological waste management practices, and overseeing motorpool services, efforts that contribute significantly to maintaining a safe, sustainable, and conducive learning environment. Meanwhile, Dr. Jay-ar A. De Mayo, Director of Business and Auxiliary Services, outlined the Universityโ€™s income-generating projects and auxiliary services, emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and strategic expansion to support TAUโ€™s long-term financial viability.

Throughout the day, the evaluators from DBM-RFO III shared valuable recommendations and technical insights, offering constructive feedback on administrative systems, fiscal practices, and performance indicators. Their expertise provided guidance for continuous improvement and strengthened compliance with national standards in public financial management.

The activity concluded with the commitment message of Vice President for Finance and Administration, Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, who expressed gratitude to the presenters, evaluators, and participants for their active engagement. He reaffirmed the Officeโ€™s dedication to upholding transparency, efficiency, and accountability in all financial and administrative undertakings, ensuring that TAU remains resilient, responsive, and future-ready in fulfilling its mandate of excellence in instruction, research, extension, and production.
