Strengthening its commitment to collaborative development and institutional sustainability, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) formally seals a partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry โ Tarlac Province through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the University Presidentโs Conference Hall on April 16, 2026.
The University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson underscores the vital role of strategic partnerships in advancing the Universityโs mission, emphasizing that meaningful engagement with government agencies such as DTI is essential in fostering sustainability and inclusive growth. He expresses his appreciation to DTIโTarlac and affirms TAUโs readiness to extend its programs and services in support of the agencyโs initiatives.
Acting Provincial Director Florencia Balilo likewise conveys her gratitude, describing the partnership as a celebration of the long-standing relationship between TAU and DTI. She highlights that the agreement signifies not only a collaboration but also a renewed commitment to shared goals and continued cooperation.
Also present during the MOA signing are; Chief Trade Industry Specialist Ana Marie S. Tabamo from DTI- Tarlac Province andย Chief of Institutional Services of TAU Elynmer P. Cortez, and the Director for TAU- Alumni Relations Karen A. Mariano, further reinforcing the Universityโs unified support for initiatives that drive innovation, community engagement, and sustainable development.
