Students, faculty, and staff gathered at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on March 2 for the monthly flag-raising ceremony, where the Gender and Development (GAD) Office formally launched the university’s Women’s Month celebration through an all-women-led program. Spearheaded by the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS), the ceremony featured patriotic hymns and the recitation of institutional pledges, underscoring the academic community’s collective commitment to gender equality, empowerment, and inclusive leadership.

In line with this, Ms. Maribel C. Ramales, Assistant Director of the GAD Office, announces the upcoming activities following today’s GAD kick-off ceremony for National Women’s Month.Β 

Ms. Ramales also encourages everyone to wear any shade of purple every Wednesday in support of GAD activities.

Following the ceremony, the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) recognizes the March Birthday Celebrators.Β 

Meanwhile, Ms. Mileatte P. Omaney, Assistant Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) commends the faculty and staff from the CAF Department of Forestry for securing the 10th place in the 15th National Forestry Olympiad (NFO).

Subsequently, Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, Director of the Quality Assurance (QA) Office, acknowledges the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) for the successful retention of Level IV accreditation status of its Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) valid from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2030, as confirmed by the by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc.

In addition, Dr. Emerson B. Cuzzamu, Sports Director, also commends the TAU Caraboas for being placed as the 6th runner-up among 13 participating teams from different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in Central Luzon during the recently concluded State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) Region III Athletic Meet 2026, hosted by the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST).

Meanwhile, Ms. Hasmine Arielle G. Mariano, The Golden Harvest adviser, proudly announces the award received by the TAU’s Official Student Publication, the Golden Harvest (GH), during the 24th Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC), held at Palm Cabanas Resort in Arayat, Pampanga, from February 11 to 13. GH ranked 9th place among 42 student publications.

In addition to the announcements, Dr. Sinamar E. Estudillo, CAF Dean, welcomes Dr. Janine I. Berdos, for being back in the university after completing her Doctor of Philosophy, Major in Animal Science at Sunchon National University, South Korea.

Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Chief Administrative Officer for Administration (CAO-Admin), also honors Dr. Feliciano M. Rosete Jr., as he returns to TAU after serving for two (2) years as President of Colegio de Masinloc in Zambales.

Through this gathering, TAU strengthens its culture of discipline, communication, and collective responsibility. TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, with his full support of the GAD agenda and activities, encourages the TAUians to stand as a testament to the University’s shared vision of inclusivity, growth, and service.
