Tarlac Agricultural University invites aspiring young agri-preneurs and innovators to take part in theย 2026 Young Farmers Challenge (YFC) Season 6 Intercollegiate Competition, a nationwide initiative of the Department of Agriculture through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (AMAS) that empowers the youth to transform agricultural ideas into sustainable and profitable enterprises.
The program aims to strengthen youth participation in agriculture and fisheries by encouraging innovative business concepts, entrepreneurship, and enterprise development among students pursuing agriculture and related fields.
The YFC Program features three categories: Start-Up, Upscale, and Intercollegiate. Aside from financial grant assistance, participants may also receive business development support, mentoring, product promotion opportunities, and assistance in securing certifications and market exposure.
The Intercollegiate Competition is open to regular second-year students from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) who are between 18 to 30 years old at the time of the competition. Each participating team must consist of two to three members.
Registration is open untilย May 30, 2026.
