Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) is expanding its global academic presence with two faculty members to take part in the 3rd International Symposium on Generative AI and Education (ISGAIE '26), organized by Universidad de Mรกlaga and Hassan II University of Casablanca, which will be held virtually from 20-22 May.
Dr. Jeffrey John R. Yasay, a faculty member from the College of Engineering and Technology, will present his research paper titled โTechnology Management Framework for Cryptocurrency for Higher Education: The Role of Generative AI.โ His study looks at how to integrate new technologies and artificial intelligence in managing cryptocurrency applications in higher education institutions.
Joining him is Ms. Maila Suzette I. Guting, a faculty member from the College of Education. She will present her paper titled โRevolutionizing Teaching Writing: Acceptability of Generative AI in a Rural University.โ Her research highlights the changing role of generative AI in improving writing instruction, especially in rural academic settings.
Both research presentations have been accepted for publication in Springer Nature Switzerland AG, a Scopus-indexed publisher. This further recognizes the quality and relevance of their scholarly work.
Their participation highlights TAUโs commitment to supporting research, innovation, and international academic engagement, especially in the growing field of generative artificial intelligence in education.
