Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) joins Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), the Teacher Education Council (TEC), and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in a meeting at the Graha Rektorat UM on 8 October. During the gathering, TAU, through College of Education (CEd) Dean Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares, signifies its intention to work with UM, particularly in short-term programs, regular faculty and student exchange, guest lectures, and collaborative research.
Marking a promising step toward deeper cooperation and mobility among the three universities, Dr. Sari Karmina, Director of UM's Office of International Affairs, also expresses her willingness to explore signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with TAU and UST.ย
This meeting is part of a TEC-funded research collaboration led by Dr. Marlon B. Espedillon, Assistant Director of TAU's Quality Assurance Office and CEd faculty member. Once completed, the study aims to offer evidence-based insights to shape national teacher education policy on laboratory schools.
