Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) makes a stunning impression at the 1st Maria Clara Festival Grand Parade, showcasing a float titled β€œSayaw ng Abanico,” 8 May.Β Β

Representing the University on the float are Mr. and Ms. TAU 2024, Jesse B. CariΓ±o and Leslie Jobyl J. Dela Cruz, who embody grace and cultural pride. Inspired by the delicate sway of the abanico, a timeless emblem of Filipino femininity and refinement, the float unfolds like a blooming fan, blending layered architectural elements with earthy tones and indigenous textures.Β

This living tapestry of heritage comes to life through the collaboration of the Office of the University President (OUP), the General Services Office (GSO), the Planning and Development Office (PDO), and the Sociocultural Development Office (SDO). As the float glides through the parade route around Camiling’s main thoroughfares, it breathes the history of ancestors and the soul of the land, affirming TAU’s commitment to cultural pride and sustainable progress.
