Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) welcomes the Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Tarlac State University (TSU) for a courtesy visit and benchmarking activity on 07 October, 2026, strengthening institutional collaboration toward advancing gender-responsive programs and practices in higher education. The TSU delegation pays a courtesy call to TAU University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, providing an avenue for dialogue and professional exchange between the two state universities.
Following the courtesy visit, the TSU GAD team conducts a benchmarking activity at the TAU Office of GAD, where institutional practices, programs, and approaches on gender and development are shared and discussed. TSU GAD is represented by its Director, Associate Professor Christine Janelle M. Santiago, together with Professor Jovy D. Tomas and Ms. Christina C. Ibe. The delegation is received by TAU GAD Director Dr. Ma. Theresa B. Nardo, with GAD personnel Ms. Kristi Anne R. Mercado, as they facilitate the exchange of practices and experiences between the two offices.
The engagement underscores the value of inter-university collaboration in advancing inclusive and gender-responsive governance, as both institutions explore practices that can further strengthen their respective GAD initiatives. Through benchmarking and knowledge exchange, TAU and TSU reinforce their shared commitment to creating institutional environments where gender responsiveness is integrated into policies, programs, and services.
