The Provincial Techno-Gabay Program (TGP) Team convened its Quarterly Regular Meeting on June 23, 2026, at the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Farmersโ€™ Training Center, bringing together Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center Managers, agricultural extension workers, and partner stakeholders from various municipalities across Tarlac Province. The meeting served as a venue for participants to review accomplishments, share updates, and discuss strategies aimed at strengthening agricultural extension services and enhancing the delivery of science and technology-based information to farming communities.

Led by Dr. Agnes C. Perey, the TGP Team Leader and the Director for Extension and Training, the meeting featured reports on significant accomplishments, FITS Center operations, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) initiatives, and Farmer-Scientist Bureau activities. Discussions also focused on the identification and evaluation of Magsasaka Siyentista, monitoring of FITS Centers and FITS Kiosks, and the assessment of the implementation status of the Techno-Gabay Program across municipalities. The activity further reinforced the commitment of stakeholders to promoting innovation, knowledge transfer, and sustainable agricultural development in the province.

The successful conduct of the quarterly meeting reflects the strong partnership between the Provincial Techno-Gabay Program and TAU in advancing agricultural extension and rural development initiatives. TAU University President; Dr. Silverio Ramon D.C. Salunson continues to express his full support for the program and its objectives, recognizing the vital role of technology dissemination, capacity-building activities, and collaborative efforts in improving the productivity and resilience of farming communities throughout Tarlac.
