The search for the next cultural ambassadors officially begins as Jesse B. Cariño steps into the spotlight to represent Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and the entire Central Luzon in the Mr. PASUC 2026 competition. His journey in Iloilo City kicks off with the Sashing Ceremony and Press Conference, where Cariño engages with the media and fellow delegates to present his platform and vision. Right after, the Grand Parade and Opening Program take center stage at West Visayas State University (WVSU).

The intensity rises during the Talent Showcase and Regional Attire Competition, where Cariño delivers a compelling performance that celebrates the Philippines' rich heritage. Guided by coaches Ms. Cecile L. Lapitan and Engr. Donna Fay N. Labrador, he performs the Kumakaret, a traditional Pangasinan courtship dance that represents the winemaking process. Mentored by Ms. Maribel Torres, Jesse impresses the audience with a routine complemented by a masterfully crafted regional ensemble.
