The second day of the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) Week Celebration, 19 February 2026,ย ignited the campus with a dynamic fusion of athletic enthusiasm and intellectual artistry, as students once again showcased their excellence beyond the classroom. From sunrise rallies to afternoon creative battles, Day 2 embodied the spirit of camaraderie, competitiveness, and innovation that defines the CAF community.
The morning was dedicated to high-energy sports games, particularly ball games, simultaneously held across key university venues. At the TAU Covered Court, teams battled it out in fast-paced basketball and volleyball matches, drawing loud cheers from fellow students and faculty supporters. The TAU Oval transformed into a lively arena for outdoor ball games, where agility and teamwork took center stage. Meanwhile, the TAU Gymnasium hosted indoor competitions that tested strategy and endurance, while the CAF Grounds became a vibrant hub for additional ball game activities, further amplifying the festive atmosphere across the campus. Each venue resonated with school pride, discipline, and sportsmanship proving that CAFians excel not only in agriculture and forestry sciences but also in athletic pursuits.
As the afternoon unfolded, the celebration shifted gears from physical prowess to intellectual and artistic excellence. Students competed in the much-anticipated Quiz Bee, demonstrating their mastery of agriculture, forestry, and general knowledge. Simultaneously, creativity flourished through the Poster Making, Slogan Writing, and Digital Art Contests, where participants translated advocacy, environmental awareness, and academic pride into powerful visual and written expressions. The venues buzzed with focus and imagination, reflecting the diverse talents and innovative mindset of the CAF student body.
Indeed, Day 2 of CAF Week 2026 was a celebration of balance, strength, and strategy in the morning, creativity and intellect in the afternoon further strengthening unity within the College of Agriculture and Forestry. As the week continues, the CAF community remains steadfast in cultivating not only future agriculturists and foresters, but also well-rounded individuals committed to excellence in every field they pursue.
