The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and the Department of Science and Technology - National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) formalize their partnership for research communication through a ceremonial signing of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Office of the University President (OUP) Conference Hall on 15 April.
The agreement covers the joint implementation of the Research Information Translation and Communication (RITAC) Program and highlights the mutual commitment to promote the dissemination, understanding, and utilization of research findings among various stakeholders, including policymakers, industry professionals, students, and the general public. It also outlines coordinated efforts to develop activities, enhance communication initiatives, and ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of the program.
Representing TAU were Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research Extension and Training (VPRET); Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA); Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel, Director of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA); Dr. Amy Lizbeth J. Rico, Chief of SMART Agriculture Center, and TAU staff.Β
