𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠-𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathers for its weekly flag-raising ceremony on April 28, 2026, in front of the TAU Learning Resource Center Building. Hosted by the University Security Services, under the leadership of Mr. Danilo Dela Cruz, the ceremony brings together faculty, staff, and key university officials to express patriotism and institutional solidarity. 

Present during the ceremony are the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VP-ASA) and Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (VP-RET); Dr. Edmar N. Franquera,  Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VP-PQA); Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, and the University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson.

During the announcement proper, Ar. Yoana Alexis F. Juan, Chief of the Institutional Development and Resource Generation Unit (IDRGU), invites heads of departments, offices, and units together with their respective office clerks to attend an orientation on the Electronic Departmental Unit Performance Commitment Review (E-DUPCR) via an online platform. The initiative aims to strengthen institutional processes and ensure alignment with the university’s performance and quality standards.

In his address, President Salunson emphasizes the importance of gratitude and teamwork as defining values of the TAU community. He expresses appreciation for being part of an institution where collaboration and mutual respect remain central, and encourages all members of the university to maintain a positive outlook at all times. His message reinforces a culture of unity and resilience that continues to guide TAU in its pursuit of excellence
