The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community gathers for the Flag Raising Ceremony on 9 June in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Library Building, hosted by the Cashiering and Treasury Office, headed by Ms. Guia Mae O. Basilio.Β
During the program, Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, Director of the Quality Assurance (QA) Office, announces that Mr. Manuel D. Miranda Jr., Chief of the Quality Systems under the Quality Assurance (QA) Office, successfully completes the Philippine Quality Awards (PQA) Assessorsβ Calibration Workshop held on 4-8 June and is now recognized as a PQA National Assessor.
In addition, Dr. Soriano also recognizes the recent accreditation milestones granted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship receives Level IV Accredited status valid from 16 March 2026 to 15 March 2031 pursuant to the AACCUP technical review and board action dated 26 May 2026. Likewise, the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) majors in Soil Science, Animal Science, Horticulture, Crop Protection, Agricultural Economics, and Agricultural Extension also secure Level IV Accredited status. Meanwhile, the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agronomy is granted Level II Accredited status valid from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027.
The University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson also delivers an inspiring message highlighting the importance of solidarity, patriotism, and service as the nation prepares for the upcoming Araw ng Kalayaan celebration on 12 June. He encourages the University community to honor the sacrifices of Filipino heroes by upholding excellence, integrity, and dedication in their respective roles while contributing to nation-building through education and public service.
