The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officially conducts its first flag-raising ceremony for the month of April at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 7 April, marking a renewed sense of solidarity and purpose among its officials, employees, and students.
The ceremony begins with the solemn singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the recitation of national and other institutional pledges. This is complemented by announcements and updates from various offices.Β
The Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) acknowledges the birthday celebrators for April.
Meanwhile, Dr. Milani C. Petero, LS Principal and Coordinator of Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics, and Technology (PCSMT) along with Dr. Mariella Alexes Espiritu, Director of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction (OCI), extend their heartfelt gratitude to the students for their time and effort during the 2026 PCSMT - Science and Technology Youth Leadership Encampment (STYLE) held at TAU grounds on 23-25 March.
Dr. Petero and Dr. Espiritu also thanked the administration led by Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, University President, and the outgoing PCSMT Student Chapter Officers for their efforts and support to the team.
Dr. Soriano recognizes the colleges of TAU following the conferment of the 2025 Certificate of Accreditation by the The National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA) Inc., upon the recommendation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc. and after a technical review conducted by the NNQAA Board, as stipulated in Board Resolution No. 39, Series of 2025, covering the Universityβs academic programs.
Subsequently, Ms. Sharlene Mae M. Domingo, Golden Harvest (GH) Adviser,Β recognizes the contribution of the TAU team on their success in the Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) held in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, particularly in receiving awards in the Top 10 Best Editorial & Opinion Page and in award-winning students Jayron Mark R. Dela Cruz (5th Place, News Writing-Filipino) and John Bernard M. Doria (6th Place, Digital Editorial Cartooning-Filipino).
Moreover, Mr. Jessie E. Dela Cruz, OSSD Assistant Director and Chair of OSSD Financial and Educational Assistance, invites all eligible second-year TAU students to attend the Orientation for the DOST-SEI Junior Level Science Scholarship Application on 7 April, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the TAU Agritourism Hostel.Β
Ms. Maribel G. Torres of the Sociocultural Development Office (SDO), on behalf of Prof. Cecile L. Lapitan, commends the winners for their outstanding performances in the recently concluded Festival of Talents on 26-27 March.
As the ceremony concludes, the Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA) Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, on behalf of the University President Dr. Salunson provides a message that serves as a reminder of the values of faith, renewal, and collective strength.
The VPFA expresses hope that everyone takes time to reflect on the sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord, drawing strength and inspiration from this season. The community is likewise encouraged to continue supporting and practicing the Universityβs austerity measures with discipline and cooperation.
