The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through its Gender and Development (GAD) Office, successfully holds the Chalk Art Contest bringing together TAUinian artists at the Boulevard on 25 March, promoting their advocacy in line with National Women’s Month.

Guided by the theme β€œLead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” 9 and 15 talents compete in the employee and student category, respectively, focus their works on a Filipina woman leader from the Philippines, either from the past or present, who represents different fields of endeavor such as government, education, science, arts, sports, community development, and advocacy. Each piece represents leadership, empowerment, and the positive contributions of women to their respective societies.
