𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠-𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), under the leadership of University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, conducts its simultaneous flag-raising ceremony across various colleges, reinforcing solidarity and shared institutional direction at the start of the week, 14 April.

Across all venues, Dr. Salunson and the four Vice Presidents emphasize the importance of austerity measures, encouraging the community to practice prudent spending by minimizing unnecessary expenses, including costly travels and non-essential activities. These reminders aim to strengthen the University’s financial sustainability while ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.

In addition, updates on the academic calendar, class schedules, and other college-specific announcements are communicated to keep students, faculty, and staff well-informed and aligned with ongoing institutional priorities. Through this coordinated initiative, TAU continues to promote transparency, accountability, and collective responsibility among its stakeholders.

Dr. Salunson, together with Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA) Dr. Sonny DC. Torres leads the ceremony at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) – Library Building alongside the College of Business and Management (CBM). Meanwhile, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA) Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco and Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA) Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo join the ceremony at the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), while Vice President for Research Extension and Training (VPRET) Dr. Edmar N. Franquera attends at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), in collaboration with the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and the College of Engineering and Technology (CET). A separate ceremony is also held at the College of Education – Laboratory School (CEd LS).
