The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) conducts its weekly flag-raising ceremony in front of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) Library Building, held simultaneously with a separate ceremony at the TAU-Laboratory School (LS), 21 April.

During the ceremony, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson addresses all TAU employees, highlighting the current heat index affecting the province and urging the community to remain vigilant in protecting their health.

In response to the rising temperatures, Dr. Salunson announces a new directive allowing the use of air conditioning units as early as 8:00 AM to provide a more comfortable working environment for employees and ensure continued productivity despite the heat.

He also emphasizes the importance of staying hydrated, minimizing prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and observing safety precautions amid the extreme weather conditions.

Meanwhile, alongside the Universityโ€™s vice presidents, Dr. Salunson formally acknowledges and welcomes the institutionโ€™s newly hired faculty members and non-teaching personnel. The introduction of new employees marks another step in strengthening TAUโ€™s workforce in support of its academic and administrative functions.

Simultaneously, school officials also deliver key academic announcements at the TAU-LS. Students are informed that the Senior High School (SHS) final examinations and the Junior High School (JHS) fourth quarter examinations are scheduled to take place within the week, prompting learners to prepare accordingly.ย
