The initiative aims to gather best practices and refine policies for TAU's institutional promotion and merit system, ensuring a robust and equitable framework for faculty and staff career progression. The diverse TAU team includes Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad, the Faculty Regent, and Ms. Maricel D. This visit is a key part of CEZA's week-long tour of Luzon's bamboo parks, aiming to gather vital insights on Bamboo species, management practices, and community programs for its own planned Bamboo Park Project in Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

During the engagement, the CEZA Environmental Management Division focuses on learning from TAU's established expertise in bamboo cultivation and sustainable infrastructure. This collaborative exchange highlights a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, as CEZA seeks to adopt proven strategies that balance ecological health with community livelihood development.

In a strategic move to bolster its global standing in sustainable development, innovation, and international collaboration, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) hosted the "Workshop on THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026" at the TAU Agri-Tourism Hostel Function Hall on 15 October.ย 

The day-long event, carrying the theme "Building a Sustainable Global Presence through Academic Excellence and Societal Impact," convened the members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) and Secretariat, signaling a proactive institutional effort to systematize its sustainability reporting and performance appraisal.

The workshop agenda, crafted by the External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA) office, outlined a comprehensive journey for participants. The day commenced with a formal opening ceremony, followed by a pivotal session detailing "TAU's THE Impact Ranking Journey," presented by Mr. Julius C. Consul. This presentation provided crucial context and lessons learned from the University's previous participation in the global rankings.
