To ensure transparency and accountability, the Legislative Budget Research and Monitoring Office headed by Senator Sherwin Ting Gatchalian, the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance conducts a briefing on the FY 2026 budget of the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) as part of the enactment process of the 2026 General Appropriations Act at the Senator Recto and Laurel Rooms, Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City on 26 September.

In line with this, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) represented by its University President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with the TAU Executive Secretary and Chief of Presidential Management Staff, Mr. Orlando H. Locading, attends the budget hearing, which includes financial matters that will be evaluated during the meeting for the purpose of aligning SUCsโ€™ budgets with national priorities and development goals, including access to quality education, research, extension services, and infrastructure.

Student-athletes from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) have secured their places in the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) National Finals after outstanding performances in the qualifying rounds held in Pasig City on 27 September. Their success in the preliminaries guarantees a strong TAU representation at the championship events.

In the Under-20 category, the menโ€™s 4x400m relay team earned their spot in the finals with a commanding performance. The quartet of Aljone S. Doctor, John Raven C. Villa, Merson Abarca, and Jhaypee Maglalang represented the University. Doctor also qualified individually for the 800-meter run final, proving his versatility by succeeding in both events.

๐๐Ž๐– ๐š๐ญ ๐“๐€๐” | The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) is conducting the final exit conference for the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) program of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) via Zoom. Key officials and staff, including College of Engineering and Technology (CET) Dean Dr. Ruben A. Parazzo, BSABE Department Chairperson Engr. Guiller B. Damian, and Quality Assurance (QA) Director Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, are present to receive the findings.

The accreditors are delivering their comprehensive assessment, outlining observations and recommendations. This conference marks the critical phase of the process, determining the program's adherence to AACCUP standards and its future development path.
