𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐁𝐌 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬

To equip students with proper workplace readiness, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) through the Student Placement Office (SPO), conducts the Pre-Deployment Orientation Seminar (PDOS) for incoming student interns from the College of Business and Management (CBM), today, 16 January, at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center.

SPO, led by its Director, Dr. Benny S. Soliman, invites three seasoned speakers from the University to address workplace safety, confidentiality, data privacy, and legal or ethical concerns. 

Setting the tone for disciplined work habits, Mr. Johnny A. Parel Jr., Guidance Counselor III, discusses the first topic titled “Make Your Internship Enjoyable: Instilling Strong Work Ethics and Professionalism” followed by Ms. Nica N. Quibuyen, Gender and Development (GAD) Coordinator and CBM Instructor, who shares her insights on “Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) and its IRR (Implementing Rules and Regulation). In addition, University Guidance Counselor Ms. Maria C. Tabago delves into “Mental Health: Mindfulness & Mental Well Being in the Workplace.”

Isabela State University (ISU) welcomes Dr. Boyet L. Batang as its 7th University President in an Investiture Ceremony at the Auditorium of the New Multi-Purpose Building at ISU’s Echague Campus, 27 January, with distinguished guests, including Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU).

As Dr. Batang officially accepts the mantle of leadership, the event emphasizes ISU’s trajectory toward academic excellence and community engagement. All eyes are on the new President as he outlines his roadmap for a smart-green future, followed immediately by a fellowship dinner to celebrate camaraderie among the country's education leaders.

𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | TAU student global ambassador set to speak at Youth Talk International

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - External Linkages and International Affairs Office (ELIA) global ambassador from the College of Education (CEd) Ms. Alyzanett G. Eugenio is set to serve as a keynote speaker for Youth Talk International organized by the Universitas Pancasakti Tegal (UPS) - Indonesia on 29 January 2026  via Zoom. 

As part a collaborative initiative alongside Hatyai University of Thailand, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogkarta and Universitas Bhamada Slawi of Indonesia, Ms. Eugenio is set to represent TAU and steer a collaborative discussion on “The Global Shift: How AI Re-defines Productivity.” 

This program is designed to empower both the university and its students by building a global network that enhances competitiveness and professional growth while strengthening the academic ties between UPS and TAU.

Led by Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, several members of the University's Administrative Council (AdCo) and other employees don their stole and receive their credentials for the Certificate Course on Foresight and Futures Thinking (CCFFT) from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) today, 30 January.

​Themed "Dangal at Galing Para sa Bagong Pilipinas," the 2nd DAP-wide graduation also features the opening remarks of Dr. Arsenio M. Balisacan, Secretary of Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) and the commencement address by Hon. Ralph G. Recto, Executive Secretary.
