Promoting awareness of national history and identity, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) holds a simultaneous flag hoisting ceremony in various areas within the campus, 17 November.

TAU community, including officials, faculty members, staff, and students, sing the national anthem and recite pledges at the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) grounds, College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), Laboratory School (LS) front yard, and in front of the Library Building, synchronously.

Meanwhile, at the Library Building, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, reminds the community of their shared responsibility to uphold patriotism, academic integrity, and service to the nation. He also encourages everyone to actively participate in programs and initiatives that promote national awareness and community development.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥

The spotlight shines on the champions of the Lantern Festival 2025 as the Laboratory School (LS) Arts Club and AgriHome Club solidify their legacy with a stunning two-peat victory! Their collaborative masterpiece, embodying the "Sari-Saring Saya ng Pistang Pinoy," earns them the top honor and the Php 5,000 prize, proving their creative vision continues to burn the brightest.

The competitive spirit glows just as strongly with the other top contenders. The Rodeo Club TAU Chapter secures a first runner-up finish (Php 4,000), while the Venerable Knight Veterinarians Fraternity – Venerable Lady Veterinarians Sorority (VKV-VLV) IOTA Chapter claims the second runner-up title (Php 3,000). 

A special celebration also goes to the consolation prize winners: the Association of Geodetic Engineering Students, Young Entrepreneurs Society, and Junior Marketing Society, whose exceptional lanterns each earn a Php 1,000 prize, adding their unique light to the triumphant comeback event organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC).

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the National Service Training Program (NSTP) office, strengthens its disaster preparedness among National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) and School-Based Reserve Unit (SBRU) students through realistic scenarios and hands-on drills during the Gender-Responsive Training for Fire Incident/Emergency on 15 November.

At the Gilberto Teodoro Multipurpose Center, the participants engage in various modules, including a seminar-training like fire safety education, fire distinguisher training, and basic firefighting techniques. 

After the discussions, the students then participate in hands-on demonstrations at the TAU Oval, facilitated by the Camiling Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) officials.

𝐐𝐔𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐛𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson frames the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) First Surveillance Audit, 14 November, as a pivotal step in the University's continuous journey toward excellence, not merely a routine evaluation. He emphasizes that the audit's core purpose is to verify the effectiveness of the QMS across all University functions and to reaffirm their commitment to high standards.

Dr. Salunson calls for the full cooperation and support of the entire TAU community, urging everyone to engage in the process with integrity and an open mind. He expresses confidence that this collective effort will result in a successful audit, ultimately strengthening the TAU's mission to deliver quality service and create a lasting impact for the stakeholders and the community it serves.
