Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson represents Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) at the Commemoration Day organized by the Embassy of the State of Israel in partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA). Held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City, the event honors the memory of  Filipinos and Israelis who made the ultimate sacrifice on 7 October and pays tribute to the courage and resilience of modern-day heroes.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson meets with Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, the CHED Commissioner who chairs the TAU Board of Regents. Their brief dialogue focuses on advancing the University's strategic goals. To showcase TAU's tangible outputs in sustainability and research, President Salunson presents Commissioner Aquino with a gift of the University's signature eBamboo products, symbolizing a fusion of agricultural heritage and innovation.

Fifty (50) students from the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) participated in Universitas Brawijaya’s (UB) 6th International Conference on Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine for Students (ICAVETS-VEIN) centered on the theme “Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Livestock Production to Support Global Security,” held on 3 November 2025 via Zoom.

This engagement provided the students with deeper insights through a series of lectures and discussions delivered by resource speakers from Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Malaysia.

TAU students also gained ideas on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the event’s paper competition, which focuses on the following SDGs: (2) Zero Hunger, (9) Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, (12) Responsible Consumption and Production, and (13) Climate Action.

Ms. Mileatte P. Omaney, a forester and faculty member from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), presented the study titled “Watershed Characterization for a Sustainable Framework in Mitigating Climate Change at TAU-Calao Forest Reserve, San Jose, Mayantoc, Tarlac” during the 2nd International PFEN Conference and General Assembly held at Visayas State University (VSU), Leyte, on 21–25 October 2025.

The said study is a collaborative effort between Ms. Omaney and her fellow CAF faculty researchers, namely Ms. Maidas L. Anson, Mr. Julius Rae R. Allam, Ms. Minda M. Mondiguing, and Ms. Raquel B. Sigue.

With the theme “Building Bridges towards Responsive, Responsible, and Sustainable Forest Landscape Restoration,” the event served as a platform to gather PFEN State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) members, experts, researchers, and foresters across the Philippines to collaborate and expand knowledge in the field of forestry through research forums, as well as on-site PRC license renewals for foresters.
