Earning yet another national recognition, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) – College of Education (CEd) has secured its spot among the country’s top teacher education institutions (TEIs). According to the recently released results of the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), TAU ranks 8th among top-performing schools at the elementary level in the category for institutions with 50 to 99 examinees.

TAU-CEd’s performance in the elementary level examination recorded a remarkable 98.36% first-time pass rate. Overall, 61 out of 64 examinees successfully passed, achieving a 95.31% institutional passing rate, a figure that far exceeds the national passing rate of 51.05% and underscores the program’s exceptional preparation and support for its students.

This culture of excellence extends to the secondary level as well. First-time takers achieved a 95.45% passing rate, while the overall institutional performance reached 87.63%, with 85 out of 97 examinees passing. These results comfortably surpass the national passing rate of 72.62%, highlighting TAU-CEd’s consistent commitment to high-quality teacher education at the secondary level.

In a Facebook post, CEd Dean Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares emphasized that these results reflect the University’s consistent delivery of quality instruction, strong mentoring, and the efforts and sacrifices of both students and faculty. “Above all, they stand as a powerful testament to our shared commitment to excellence in teacher education,” she remarked.

Ragsakan 2025 features the cathartic anthems of Jan Roberts, the fierce spectacle of EDSA XXTRA, and the mesmerizing pull of Fitterkarma, igniting a collective spirit that honors eight decades of excellence.

Watch out for the third day recap when the spirit of TAU floods the towns of Western Tarlac as the Alumni Motorcade rolls through the municipalities of Camiling, Sta. Ignacia, San Clemente, and Mayantoc. Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) holds its Testimonial Program for Board Passers 2025 at the Continuing Education Center on 17 December, celebrating newly licensed agriculturists, food technologists, and foresters. The program opens with welcome remarks from College Dean Dr. Sinamar E. Estudillo. 

Inspirational messages set the tone for the afternoon as graduates and guests gather to honor academic achievement and professional success. Board passers also share their testimonies, reflecting on their journeys and the support of their mentors, followed by the awarding of certificates and tokens. The event culminates with closing remarks from the Assistant Dean For. Mileatte P. Omaney, highlighting the college’s commitment to excellence in quality higher education, while recognizing the hard work and perseverance of its new professionals.
