𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐒 | 𝐓𝐀𝐔 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓’𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨.𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

In its sustained effort to advance innovation and quality assurance, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) formally visited the newly established Knowledge, Innovation, Science and Technology (KIST) Ecozone at the De La Salle University (DLSU) - Laguna Campus, from 21-22 October, followed by another engagement that connects with industry leaders and investors at Batangas State University (BatStateU), 23-25 October.

The KIST Program, instituted by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - CALABARZON, located at DLSU Laguna Campus, is a five-hectare Innovation Hub that operates to connect researchers in promoting technology development, knowledge transfer, and economic growth.

During the activity, TAU officials led by Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance (VPPQA); Dr. Eugene S. Valeriano, Director of Planning and Development Office (PDO); Engr. Rochel E. Vibar, Chief of Infrastructure Development, Land Use and Zoning (IDLUZ); and Dr. Maria Elena T. Caguioa, Director of the Department of Research and Development (DRD), along with representatives from other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), were welcomed by Dr. Jonathan R. Dungca, Vice President of DLSU Laguna Campus, followed by a collaborative interaction and an overview of DLSU Innovation Hub Development steered by Mr. Robespierre C. Porsovigan, DLSU Business Development Manager, and Ms. Lenor Coreen D. Aguinaldo, DLSU Executive Officer. The participants also joined a facility visit and gathered insights on how to operate and manage an innovation hub effectively.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon D.C. Salunson warmly welcomes the Teacher Education Council (TEC) Secretariat delegates during their learning visit to TAU's Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) program, an event that fosters meaningful exchange on educational innovation and strengthened institutional partnerships to advance College of Education’s (CEd) role as a Center of Excellence (CoE).

The visit seeks to evaluate and compare the BTLEd curriculum and implementation, and determine effective strategies and challenges in training future TLE/TVL educators.

Excitement fills the air as the furry companions of pet lovers gather at the Farmers’ Training Center (FTC) Function Hall on 24 October during the 3rd Ranchers’ Dog and Cat Show initiated by the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Ranchers Club in collaboration with Business and Auxiliary Services, Rodeo Club Philippines – TAU Chapter, Magiting ELPSO Eagles Club, Triskelion de Bautista, Genuine Ilocano – TAU Chapter, San Manuel Lodge No. 59, and St. Jorge Lodge No. 25 – Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

The joyful event features exciting talent and costume competitions for dogs and cats, along with free vaccinations, giveaways, and deworming services.

The whole Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community proudly commends Mr. Von D. Chavez for earning the Best Paper Award (3rd Place) in the Science and Mathematics Education Category during the 2025 Faculty Research and Extension Congress organized by the Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics and Technology (PCSMT).

With the theme “Bridging Theory and Practice: Research and Extension Synergies in Science, Mathematics, and Technology,” held at the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), Manila, on 20-22 October, Mr. Chavez showcased his research excellence through his paper presentation titled “Exploring Latent Class Profiles of Mathematics Performance: Insights from PISA 2022 Using Growth Mindset Indicators and Group Comparison Analysis.”
