Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson frames the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) First Surveillance Audit, 14 November, as a pivotal step in the University's continuous journey toward excellence, not merely a routine evaluation. He emphasizes that the audit's core purpose is to verify the effectiveness of the QMS across all University functions and to reaffirm their commitment to high standards.

Dr. Salunson calls for the full cooperation and support of the entire TAU community, urging everyone to engage in the process with integrity and an open mind. He expresses confidence that this collective effort will result in a successful audit, ultimately strengthening the TAU's mission to deliver quality service and create a lasting impact for the stakeholders and the community it serves.

The campus of Tarlac Agricultural University came alive once again as the Sine-Sulong Advocacy Documentary Screening opened its doors to thousands of TAUians eager to witness stories that champion development, humanity, and hope. Recognized as the biggest SDG-themed and socially relevant documentary showcase in TAU, this year’s event marked a milestone in community-centered storytelling.

The opening program set a warm and inspiring tone. Dr. Sherwin S. Alar welcomed the crowd with heartfelt opening remarks, emphasizing how Sine-Sulong has grown into more than a film event. To him, it is a movement that continues to deepen TAU’s commitment to advocacy-driven communication.

A meaningful message followed from DevCom faculty and Chief of the TAU Information Unit, Nelmar A. Mallari, who proudly commended both the production and promotions teams. He shared how each year’s documentaries continue to improve in craft and clarity, reflecting the growing maturity of student storytellers who dare to tell narratives that matter.

The event became even more special with the presence of the Department of Agrarian Reform. Ms. Garland Leila A. Cuarteros, Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II, extended her warm congratulations to TAU for its recent victory in PelikulAgraryo. She was joined by DAR officials Mr. Gerald A. Fontanoza and Mr. Gabriel A. Sabinorio, who also witnessed how the university nurtures advocacy through film.

Today, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) reinforces its commitment to quality service as it undergoes its 1st Surveillance Audit for the ISO 9001:2015 QMS. External auditors Mr. Zyrus A. Oyong, Ms. Katherine Tinoy, and Ms. Jane Anne C. Hernandez are at the TAU Agritourism Hostel Function Hall to commence a rigorous assessment, ensuring the institution's systems continue to meet international standards.
