Chavez for earning the Best Paper Award (3rd Place) in the Science and Mathematics Education Category during the 2025 Faculty Research and Extension Congress organized by the Philippine Consortium for Science, Mathematics and Technology (PCSMT).

With the theme “Bridging Theory and Practice: Research and Extension Synergies in Science, Mathematics, and Technology,” held at the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), Manila, on 20-22 October, Mr. Chavez showcased his research excellence through his paper presentation titled “Exploring Latent Class Profiles of Mathematics Performance: Insights from PISA 2022 Using Growth Mindset Indicators and Group Comparison Analysis.”

Bamboo Impact Lab (BIL) and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), through the Bamboo Research and Training Center (BRTC) and eBamboo Facility, explore a partnership focusing on leveraging TAU’s expertise and operations for joint research, product development, and community training programs to advance the regional bamboo value chain, 21 October.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) proved its continuous excellence in providing successful and competent graduates as it produced 27 newly licensed foresters in the October 2025 Foresters Licensure Examination, according to the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

This year, TAU-CAF recorded an impressive 69.23% passing rate, marking a substantial increase from last year’s 40% performance. This achievement reflects the university’s steadfast commitment to academic quality and professional development.

Dr. Sinamar E. Estudillo, Dean of CAF, expressed pride in the collective effort that led to this milestone. “As an institution, we remain steadfast in our commitment to continuously improving our board exam results. We will persist in enhancing our curriculum, strengthening faculty development, and providing the best possible learning environment to ensure even greater success in the years to come,” she said.
