With strong spirit of hope and determination, 20 achievers proudly mark the completion of the National Certificate II in Agricultural Crops Production led by the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) under the initiative of the Department of Extension and Training (DET) with the theme “Changing Lives, Building a Safer Nation,” at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Camiling, 11 September.

Said event is under the program of TAU - DET in collaboration with BJMP Camiling titled College Education Behind Bars: Breaking Chains, which aims to enhance public safety by providing humane safekeeping and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | Focusing on aligning the audit schedule, clarifying the scope of review, and outlining key compliance requirements, the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) team and auditees convened via Google Meet yesterday, 10 September, for the Opening Conference to finalize plans for the upcoming audit cycle.

To ensure a smooth and effective process, the Quality Assurance (QA) Office will soon release the official ISO audit plan and schedule to all concerned offices—further emphasizing Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards and continuously improving its systems.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson proudly recognized six faculty members during their oath-taking ceremony, reflecting their commitment to excellence in teaching, at the OP Conference Hall, 10 September.

Three faculty members from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF)—Mr. John Arris E. Rayo, Mr. Frederick R. Godoy, and Mr. Ramquel P. Tendido—received their renewed appointments under temporary status. Meanwhile, one newly hired faculty member, Dr. Shekinah Phebe M. Samson, joined the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), while two others, Ms. Louise Angela C. Villanueva and Mr. Jester F. Dancel, became part of the College of Education (CED).

The energy is high at the G.O. Teodoro Multipurpose Hall for the Supreme Student Council (SSC) Miting de Avance ahead of the polls tomorrow, 11 September. The KAYA NATIN-TAU Party presents its full slate, featuring one candidate for President, one for Vice President, and five Councilors. They are joined by two other independent candidates, all coming together to present their plans for the welfare and development of the 6,905-strong TAUian student body.
