๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ | In preparation for Academic Year 2025-2026, Tarlac Agricultural University's (TAU) Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Unit under the General Services Office (GSO) is conducting vegetation management operations, including pruning and weeding, across the campus housing area.
The maintenance work focuses on clearing overgrown vegetation to prevent tree falls during typhoon season while preparing the dormitories for safe student occupancy.
The University is organizing a campus-wide Clean-Up Drive on Thursday, 14 August, as part of its commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable environment. All colleges are requested to adjust their schedules to prioritize participation. Likewise, every office is encouraged to ensure its staff members take part in this important event.
This effort aims to deepen environmental awareness, strengthen collaboration among the stakeholders of the university community, and ensure the campus is well-prepared for the upcoming activities.
The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - College of Education (CEd) welcomed 25 pioneering first-year students of the newly offered Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science (BSESS) program at the start of the semester, 11 August.
According to the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) Office, despite the strong interest from aspiring enrollees, only a select few qualified, as admission standards were set at a high level to ensure that those accepted demonstrate the academic capability consistent with CEdโs rigorous entrance requirements.
Among the trailblazing members of this initial BSESS batch are Mr. Juls Ivann J. Limayo and Ms. Christine DT. Laureta, both from Camiling, who envision themselves as a future fitness coach and a Physical Education (PE) teacher, respectively.ย
