To evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the Tarlac Agricultural Universityโs Quality Management System (QMS), the Quality Assurance (QA) office spearheads the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Review at the AgriTourism Function Hall, 29 October.
The review assesses the performance and effectiveness of the universityโs QMS, covering compliance obligations, customer satisfaction, external provider performance, process efficiency, and audit results.
Fifty-six graduates of the Tarlac Agricultural University โ College of Veterinary Medicine (TAU-CVM) have officially passed the Veterinary Licensure Examination 2025, marking another remarkable milestone for the White Eagles community. Their success stands as a testament to years of rigorous academic formation, laboratory practice, field exposure, and unyielding determination in pursuing a profession that safeguards animal health, public safety, and agricultural development.
Reaffirming its commitment to promoting cultural inclusivity, the Buklod-Lahi, the official Indigenous Peoples (IP) student group of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), together with their adviser, Mr. April Christian L. De Leon, engages in the IP Month 2025 celebration held at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Sumacab Campus, Cabanatuan City on 28 October.
During the celebration, Buklod-Lahi participates in cultural and educational activities, including the Katutubong Indak ng Pagpupugay and Katutubong Sayaw ng Pagkakaisa, as well as simultaneous discussions that highlight the importance of cultural appreciation and empowerment.
The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) will suspend its office transactions on 30 October in line with the University Mental Health Break. In addition, with Proclamation No. 727 signed by President Ferdinand โBongbongโ Marcos Jr., 31 October and 1 November are declared special non-working days in observance of All Saintsโ Day and All Soulsโ Day.
Regular operations will resume on 3 November. Urgent concerns may be directed via email, but physical offices will remain closed.
The Tarlac Agricultural University proudly sends off its Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET), Dr. Edmar N. Franquera to the 4th International Plantation Conference (IPC2025) to present his study titled โIntegrated Rice Duckweed Farming System: Effects on the Growth and Yield of Rice and Farm Productivity,โ at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia from 27-31 October 2025.
The said international event will be attended by entrepreneurs who own Malaysia-based plantations and business enterprises, as well as practitioners, economists, agronomists, and biotechnology innovators, among others.
Through this international engagement, Dr. Franquera will have the opportunity to network and foster multidisciplinary discussions with fellow researchers and professionals in the agricultural industry. He will also gather insights in furthering advanced agricultural practices in the University and in the Philippines through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain technology.
