Led by Atty. Meliza Joy P. Manalo, Audit Team Leader (Officer-in-Charge), and Mr. Jay Mer G. Tabugan, Audit Team Member, along with TAU delegates, reaffirm accountable governance and the commitment to transparency, accountability, and evidence-based project execution.
Signifying the official partnership between the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - Field Office III and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), both parties engage in a ceremonial inking of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the Office of the University President (OUP), 17 December.
Led by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson and DSWD - FO III Assistant Regional Director for Operations, Mr. Armont C. Pecina, both aim to strengthen their collaboration in extension, training, and community development initiatives.
Both parties also expressed their shared commitment to advancing collaborative programs that will benefit the TAU community and its stakeholders as well as DSWD beneficiaries and other partner communities in the region, particularly through capacity-building initiatives.

The afternoon continues with lively games, gift exchanges, and photo opportunities, concluding the celebration on a resounding note of solidarity and anticipation for the year ahead.
Solidifying its status as Tarlac Agricultural Universityโs (TAU) premier student tradition, the annual post-examination celebration, Ragsakan, drew a record-breaking crowd of more than 3,000 attendees on 16 December at the TAU Athletic Oval. This figure marks a significant 50-percent increase from the over 2,000 spectators recorded the previous year, underscoring the eventโs growing popularity among the student body.
Hosted by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) as part of TAUโs 86th Founding Anniversary, the event provided students with a much-needed respite following the rigors of first-semester final examinations. The massive turnout transformed the field into a sea of energy, sustained by a tightly packed and diverse lineup of performances throughout the night.
The program featured cultural presentations by the TAU Performing Guild (PG) and TAU Animusika, complemented by much-anticipated guest performances from a varied roster of artists. Bicolano singer-songwriter Jan Roberts, known for his emotionally charged anthems and viral hit โSagip,โ delivered a stirring set. The tempo then surged with EDSA XXTRA, an acclaimed Filipino drag performer, winner of The Drag Cartel and a prominent advocate of queer pride, who commanded the stage with an electrifying routine. Headlining the evening was rising indie art-rock band Fitterkarma, whose dark, genre-blending sound, drawing inspiration from Philippine folklore and J-rock, captivated the massive audience.

Under the theme โStepping into the Field: Practicing Agency, Ethics, and Transformative Teaching,โ the event formally commissions future educators, with University President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson and CEd Dean Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares leading the academic community in ushering them to the profession.
The program features a keynote address by CEd alumnus Dr. Jessie Aquino, Director of LifePlus Worldwide and School Head of LifePlus Online Academy, both based in China, followed by the meaningful traditions of pinning nameplates and the ceremonial lighting of candles as the practice teachers embark on their journey into the challenging learning environments they will soon enter as emerging education professionals.
