Upholding their support for the Universityโ€™s internationalization initiatives, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) students are participating in the virtual Global Dialogue Series of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), a long-term online international learning program running from September to November 2025 via Zoom.

Fifty-nine (59) TAU students are taking part in the program: fifteen (15) from the College of Veterinary Medicine, eleven (11) from the College of Education, ten (10) from the College of Arts and Sciences, eight (8) from the College of Agriculture and Forestry, eight (8) from the College of Business and Management, and seven (7) from the College of Engineering and Technology.

HKBU features one Global Dialogue Series topic per week covering themes such as fast fashion, sustainable consumption, climate change and the environment, global labor and employment, racial equality, and marginalization in education.

This yearโ€™s Global Dialogue series of HKBU is joined by students from the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Kenya, Mexico, and the United States.

Becoming a consistent advocacy of the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - National Service Training Program (NSTP) through its Civic Welfare and Training Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) units, the Waste Warriors once again lead the campus-wide waste management effort during the 2025 Intramurals from 19-21 November.

The initiative, led by CWTS Coordinator Mr. Rafael C. Macaspac and LTS Coordinator Ms. Dancel M. Cabintoy, mobilizes their students to serve as โ€œWaste Warriorsโ€ who help maintain cleanliness, oversee waste segregation, and encourage their peers to dispose of waste properly.

Now in its second year, the โ€œWaste Warriorsโ€ program has become a consistent advocacy activity during TAUโ€™s Intramurals. This yearโ€™s volunteers continue the campaignโ€™s mission to foster responsible waste management and strengthen environmental awareness among the TAU community. Many students express pride in being part of a movement that promotes sustainability and contributes to a cleaner campus.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community unites in patriotism during the weekly simultaneous flag-raising ceremony that takes place in various areas of the University on 24 November.

Spearheaded by the Records Management Unit (RMU) under the leadership of Ms. Zenaida C. Sahagun, faculty members and students from the College of Business and Management (CBM), together with non-teaching personnel from the Administration Building and the IT Data Center, gather in front of the Library Resource Center (LRC) for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the six colleges of the university hold their respective flag hoisting ceremonies, ensuring that the entire TAU community collectively honors the Philippine flag in solidarity and synchrony.

Back at the LRC, the Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo announces the opening of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and invites the TAU community to participate in the activities aligned with the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women. Dr. Nardo also leads the inauguration of the Rainbow Lane after the ceremony.

In addition, the Chief Administrative Officer for Administration (CAO-Admin), Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, recognizes the efforts of the GAD Office in championing gender-responsive initiatives across the University. She also announces that TAUโ€™s Founding Anniversary celebration is set on 15-19 December and also reminds everyone to observe discipline and strictly follow the Universityโ€™s traffic rules and regulations. Additionally, she acknowledges the presence of the University President and Vice Presidents who, although not physically present, are currently attending various external events to represent TAU.

Symbolizing its commitment to diversity and inclusion, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officially inaugurates the Rainbow Lane, 24 November. The project is a collaborative effort between the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, the General Services Office (GSO), and the Planning and Development Office (PDO). Located at the back of the Learning Resource Center (LRC), the lane serves as a bold, physical affirmation of TAU's pledge to foster a safe and welcoming environment for every member of its community.

The Rainbow Lane instantly becomes a powerful visual statement on campus as its colors represent the full spectrum of identities, promoting a culture of acceptance and equality. This landmark stands as a testament to TAU's ongoing mission to embed inclusiveness into the very fabric of its culture and governance, ensuring that every student, faculty member, and staff member feels valued and respected.

Officials from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) welcome Padapada National High School (PNHS) representatives Ms. Hannabelle M. Uy, Padapada National HS Guidance Advocate and Ms. Igielene T. Sapuay, Special Needs Education Coordinator, and Ms. Kyzea Joyce Dela Cruz- Senior High School (SHS) Teacher, at the TAU Agritourism Conference Room on 20 November during a benchmarking activity aimed at enhancing PNHSโ€™s student services and overall operational systems.ย

PNHS delegates engage in a series of discussions on how to further strengthen their services, particularly in addressing the needs of students at risk, improving the management of cumulative records, and establishing clearer intervention mechanisms.

TAU officials, led by the Office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA), Office of Student and Services Development (OSSD), and Student and Welfare Unit (SWU), respond by presenting strategies, tools, and models that Padapada may adapt to streamline their processes and create a more responsive student support environment.

The benchmarking activity concludes with a shared commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration, and learner-centered service delivery.
