The whole Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly commends the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), especially the Department of Development Communication, for clinching the first-place award during the Regional Documentary Film Festival (RDFF) organized by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

The team from Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BSDC) program captured the heart of the judges for its compelling storytelling and insightful portrayal of social realities, showcasing the creativity, analytical depth, and advocacy-driven artistry of TAU students in their winning entry “Agwat” during the celebration of the 36th National Statistics Month (NSM) held on October 30, 2025, in San Fernando, Pampanga.

The TAU Administration led by Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson and the whole TAU community extend their heartfelt congratulations to the entire CAS community for this remarkable achievement.

𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 | 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠-𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

Symbolizing faith and patriotism, the Tarlac Agricultural University community gathered at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center for the weekly flag-raising ceremony, which featured messages of motivation and updates on university programs and accomplishments, 3 November.

Led by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) through Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, College Dean,  the College spearheaded the singing of the national hymn and recitation of pledges, fostering a sense of patriotism and service among the TAU community.

Meanwhile, the administration led by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson greets the birthday celebrators for the month of November, spreading positivity and goodwill among attendees.

In addition, Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, encourages the students, faculty, and staff to participate in the upcoming activities in line with the observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and their Children (VAWC) in collaboration with the University’s MOVE-KATROPA (Men Opposed to Violence Everywhere - Kalalakihang Tapat at Responsable sa Pamilya).
