Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) officially lit its Belen for this year, dubbed as “Biyahe TAU”, on 16 October in a simple ceremony that marked the start of the Belenismo season. The display masterfully reimagines the traditional Christmas narrative, transporting it from a distant Bethlehem stable into the heart of a spirited and joyous Philippine fiesta, creating a profound connection with local culture.

At the very core of the installation sits a colorful jeepney, positioned intentionally adjacent to the Holy Family. This iconic vehicle is the central metaphor, symbolizing a shared national voyage of faith that travels across the diverse islands of the Philippine archipelago, inviting everyone on a collective spiritual journey.

A delegation from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), led by Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA), conducts a strategic benchmarking visit to Pampanga State University (PamSU) and Bulacan State University (BulSU), 16 October. 

The initiative aims to gather best practices and refine policies for TAU's institutional promotion and merit system, ensuring a robust and equitable framework for faculty and staff career progression. The diverse TAU team includes Dr. Ma Theresa B. Nardo, Director of Gender and Development (GAD) Office, Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Dr. Joseph Paul T. Abad, the Faculty Regent, and Ms. Maricel D. Felipe, Chief of Human Resource Management Unit (HRMU), enabling a holistic review of the policies from administrative, academic, and inclusivity perspectives.

Embarking on a benchmarking activity to study Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) bamboo-related facilities, the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) team arrives at the campus on 14 October. This visit is a key part of CEZA's week-long tour of Luzon's bamboo parks, aiming to gather vital insights on Bamboo species, management practices, and community programs for its own planned Bamboo Park Project in Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

During the engagement, the CEZA Environmental Management Division focuses on learning from TAU's established expertise in bamboo cultivation and sustainable infrastructure. This collaborative exchange highlights a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, as CEZA seeks to adopt proven strategies that balance ecological health with community livelihood development.

To formally enact a collaborative partnership for Technical Cooperation Program (TCP) implementation, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson participates in the ceremonial signing of a Quadripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), facilitated by the Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center III (ATI-RTC III), during the Digital Agriculture Congress in Clark, Pampanga, 16 October.
