Recognizing exemplary dedication and unwavering commitment to student development, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) honored Ms. Trisha Mae M. Ramos as this yearโs awardee of the Katangi-tanging Guro sa Larangan ng Pagtuturo during the celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) held at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 29 September.
According to the TAU Human Resource and Management Unit (HRMU), the guidelines and criteria for the said award require that the faculty awardee must have exhibited outstanding performance in the area of instruction, as demonstrated by expertise and depth of knowledge in the subject matter, effective teaching strategies, dedication to service and fostering meaningful student relationships, quality and quantity of instructional materials developed, professional growth and development, pedagogical competence, and a high level of commitment to service, fairness, courtesy, and strong interpersonal connections with co-workers and supervisors.
The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) takes part in the Donation Drive campaign spearheaded by the Philippine Civil Service Commission (PCSC) as part of its 125th Anniversary celebration, in collaboration with Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), in support to the Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program, and extends TAUโs donations to the children of Rehoboth Children's Home Inc, in Brgy. Sta. Maria, Camiling, Tarlac, 29 September.
The Pamanang Lingkod Bayani Program aims to honor the courageous government workers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Through this program, the CSC starts to provide financial assistance and offers support and scholarship programs to qualified recipients.
Affirming its dedication to transparency and accountability, the Commission on Audit (COA) conducts an Exit Conference for compliance audit, research, and extension services with Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) at the Office of the President (OP) Conference Room, 1 October.

Emphasizing the vital role of public servants in building strong institutions, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) proudly recognized its very own Model Non-Teaching Employee, or Katangi-tanging Kawani ng Gobyerno, during the annual Search for Katangi-tanging Kawani ng Unibersidad, held in line with the celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service (CSC) Anniversary at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 29 September.
The award was conferred once again to Mr. Roderick V. Garidan, Administrative Aide V from the Planning and Development Office (PDO) โ Management and Information Systems (MIS), after he obtained the highest score of 92.077% during the deliberation of the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) committee.
A father of three, Mr. Garidan, or simply โKuya Rickโ among his comrades, began his career as a computer technician in a private IT company before joining TAU in 2012. Since then, he has demonstrated deep commitment to public service, productivity, compassion, and resourcefulness in every responsibility entrusted to him. Colleagues describe him as a reliable partner, a problem-solver with cost-saving initiatives, and an inspiration who proves that true service means going beyond what is expected, all while fulfilling his responsibilities to his wife and children.
