𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐀𝐔 | The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) is conducting the final exit conference for the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (BSABE) program of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) via Zoom. Key officials and staff, including College of Engineering and Technology (CET) Dean Dr. Ruben A. Parazzo, BSABE Department Chairperson Engr. Guiller B. Damian, and Quality Assurance (QA) Director Dr. Jerome D. Soriano, are present to receive the findings.

The accreditors are delivering their comprehensive assessment, outlining observations and recommendations. This conference marks the critical phase of the process, determining the program's adherence to AACCUP standards and its future development path.

The short film “RANG-AY,” created by BS Development Communication students from the College of Arts and Sciences, will proudly represent Tarlac Agricultural University and the whole of Central Luzon at the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) PelikulArgraryo: National Film Festival 2025.

Last July 2025, “RANG-AY” was hailed as Best Film in the ARBO category and also bagged six major awards: Best Editing, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Director.

Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering excellent education after two of its flagship programs, AB Economics and BS Psychology, earned the prestigious Level IV Re-Accredited Status from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), valid until 15 April 2030.

Level IV is the highest accreditation level conferred by AACCUP, signifying that the programs not only meet but exceed stringent standards in areas such as curriculum, faculty, research, and student achievement. Both programs have a strong track record of producing competent and competitive graduates. This recognition reinforces their standing as benchmarks of quality education, research, and community service.

"This accomplishment showcases the hard work and commitment of our faculty and students, and aligns with the University's goal of fostering academic excellence that is both relevant and innovative," Dr. Sherwin S. Alar, CAS Dean, said.

Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), represented by its President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson joins fellow State University and College (SUC) leaders during the first meeting with Senator Loren Legarda, the new Chair of the Senate Committee on Higher, Technical, and Vocational Education at the Manila Polo Club, McKinley Road, Makati City, 26 September.

The meeting opens opportunities for TAU to align its thrusts with the Committee’s priorities under Senator Legarda’s leadership. As TAU continues to champion agricultural innovation, sustainability, and community development, Dr. Salunson underscores the University’s commitment to advancing quality education and strengthening its role in nation-building.
